Kneebone & Beretta Consulting Pty Ltd (trading as KBG Consulting) has completed more than 50,000 separate commissions over six decades and has acted as consulting engineers to Sydney councils including Hornsby, Parramatta, and The Hills. The principals, Mark D Thomas and Angelo J Vardouniotis, are NER-registered Chartered Professional Engineers. The firm is registered under the NSW Design and Building Practitioners (DBP) Act and is part of the KBG Group, alongside sister practice KBG Planning & Design (architecture and town planning).

- Structural design: footings and foundations, concrete slabs, steel beams and lintels, timber framing, load-bearing wall removals, retaining walls, basements, Class 2 multi-residential and apartment structures, commercial and industrial structures, alterations and additions, construction documentation, and reinforced concrete swimming pools.
- Civil and stormwater: residential stormwater design to council requirements, gravity pipe-flow systems, charged-line systems, on-site detention (OSD) systems, absorption and infiltration systems, driveway crossover design and geometry, and drainage for additions, alterations and new builds (commercial and industrial stormwater on request).
- Structural inspections: cracking and movement, wall/floor/ceiling defects, storm or impact damage, foundation concerns, retaining wall issues, pre-purchase structural advice, renovation feasibility, and construction-stage inspections.
- Engineering reports: inspection, dilapidation, defect, adequacy, remedial, council or certifier, insurance, condition assessment, and expert witness reports.
- Certification and compliance: structural certificates, design certification, construction-stage inspections, adequacy certificates, NSW DBP Act compliant documentation.
